Room description

Hi,

Brighton Lodge is a 21-room residential lodge situated in upper Parnell.

We have a double room with shared bathroom available for $250 per week, and a single room with private bathroom for $285. Rent includes bills.

All rooms are fully furnished with a bed, drawers, clothes hanging space, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster. Bedding is not provided.

All tenants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Rent includes power & water. Unlimited ultra fast fibre wi-fi internet is provided for free. Common areas are cleaned by the live-in caretaker. Meals are not provided. You have full access to the kitchen to prepare your own meals. There is also a shared dining & lounge. You will be expected to keep your room hygienic, and to clean-up after yourself when you use the communal areas. A free washing machine & dryer are available.

Just 300 meters from vibrant Parnell Rd and all the restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops this bustling inner city suburb has to offer. A 15 minute walk the other direction will take you to Broadway Newmarket or the Auckland Museum and Auckland Domain. Five minutes’ walk to the Inner and Outer LINK BUS which comes every 10 minutes and can take you to Queen Street, City Centre, Newmarket, Ponsonby, and Auckland Uni.

The move-in cost is 3 weeks rent. That's 1 week as bond and 2 weeks rent in advance. Minimum stay 3 months. People who tell us something about themselves are more likely to be offered a room. Minimum age 24 years. Tenants provide their own bedding.

Off-street park available $40/week. Street parking is available with a residents permit, otherwise P120 Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. This means any vehicle can park on the street evenings and weekends.

This is a private residence. Please don't go to the property without an appointment. There is no reception/staff to show you around. This is a home not a hostel or B&B. Thanks.
