Hiya, (the photos are from when we bought the place 😂 our furniture/decor is much much nicer now, so we'll add some current photos once we're home in a few days!)
My partner and I are looking for someone to come and live with us in our cutesy sunny lovely home in Remuera for the next 6 months.
We’ve lived here for the past 3 years and absolutely love it, but we’re heading over to Australia in around 6 months, so we’re looking for a flatmate to join us in the meantime, help us save for the move!
It’s a spacious apartment in a small block of only 6 homes, rather than a big apartment complex, so it has a much more private and homely feel and we are right at the back, with our own entrance and we overlook the garden, and from your room, you can see the skytower!
The location is amazing just a 10 min drive to the city, the bus stop is RIGHT outside our house, or its a lovely 30 minute walk to Newmarket too.
The apartment includes:
Good-sized bedroom with lots of natural light and built in wardrobe
The room can come empty - or furnished with a bed + side table + desk
One large shared bathroom and one separate toilet
Really spacious living & dining area and seperate kitchen
Sunny sunroom over the shared garden, with clothesline!
1x car park (if you need it, extra $$)
New Washing machine + dryer + oven + fridge
About us
We're a couple who have been living here for 3 years, dating for 4. We're clean, friendly and pretty easy-going. We enjoy having a nice home but we're not overly precious about it.
We're looking for someone who is tidy, respectful and easy to live with. We'd be happy to have someone who's social and up for the occasional drink/dinner together, but equally happy if you're doing your own thing.
Who would suit?
We think this would be especially ideal for a traveller, international student or someone coming to Auckland for a few months who wants a comfortable home in a great area without committing to a long-term lease.
With Remuera Village literally around the corner and easy access to the rest of Auckland, it's a really convenient spot.
Rent: $225 per week incl bills
Available: 21st September
Bond: $900 (flexible on this)
