Room description

Kia ora! 😊 If you love your own space and are looking to share a house close to the city with fellow vegans, this one's for you!

Weekly rent: $258 plus $25 expenses. We’re only looking for one person, so no couples, sorry.

Move in date: approx. mid December.

This clean and well renovated garage loft conversion was designed as a home office, and makes for an awesome bedroom/lounge too. You can really make the place your own.

Some features of the room:

- Lots of light and windows

- Your own heatpump/AC

- Direct access to a leafy green garden space which is bliss on sunny days

- Great wifi

- Hardwood flooring throughout which makes cleaning a breeze and provides a nice cool feel in the summer

- Plenty of space for a king size bed, storage shelves, a desk and more

- The room will be unfurnished

Probably the only drawback about the room is that it doesn’t have a bathroom or kitchen, so this room may favour those who want peace and space over convenience. Otherwise, it’s a dream room.

Great location in Freeman’s Bay, moments from parks, Ponsonby, Karangahape Road, the CBD, the motorway and public transport.

The main house is modern and warm with carpeted floors. We love our sunny kitchen/dining room with two fridges/freezers and two dishwashers. There are two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), each with its own shower. With different work schedules, sharing bathrooms hasn't been an issue. We also have herb/veggie garden and garage storage space around a home gym.

We're a friendly bunch in our early-20s to early-40s who enjoy a balance of social and chill time. Estelle is a scientist, practises aerial silks, makes art, and loves anything spooky. Pip studies sustainable fashion and is into mountain biking, sewing, art, and the beach. Diego works in film, and enjoys tennis, reading, the gym, and board games. His partner Claire works in libraries and likes hiking, markets, and gardening. We’re sad to see our fifth flatmate leave but we’re also excited for her to start the next chapter of her life & business in Canada. We often catch up in the kitchen and occasionally schedule get-togethers, but otherwise do our own thing. Very occasionally do we have parties. Friends and partners are always welcome to come over. Our weekly cleaning roster keeps the place nice and tidy.

Open to cats on approval of our landlord. No dogs, sorry!

We're seeking a down-to-earth and responsible person to join our home. Our flat is welcoming to LGBTQIA+ folks and we’re 420-friendly. Get in touch with us to hear more or come and have a look for yourself 😊
