Room description
Heat pump, built-in wardrobe, wall-hung TV. Full or partly furnished. Shared spaces include full kitchen (dishwasher), living room (50" TV) and dining area, laundry room (washer and dryer), large backyard deck with spa and garden. Space to line-dry items even in winter.
Room was completely renovated in 2023. House and garden are well-maintained. Suitable for single or couple. Ideal candidate will be a mature student or professional who is clean and respectful, Unfortunately, no pets, no children, no smoking (not even outside, as I am very sensitive to the smell). I am vegetarian but my son is not.
House is the rear unit, up a flight of stairs, with pleasant views. It is a very tranquil spot and just a 5 minute walk to Karori shops, restaurants, bus stops (2, 18 and 21 with easy access to town, Vic and the airport). Free on-street parking.
Bond is 3 weeks rent. Utilities include wi-fi, electricity, hot water and fortnightly housecleaner. You’ll be living with me (owner, 56m, IT professional) and my son (21m, studying architecture at Vic).
Currently furnished with comfortable king bed, two dressers, bedside tables and sitting chair. There is also a bar fridge, microwave and kettle available if you want. (The room has recently been used as an Airbnb.) Can remove furniture to suit.
A stair-lift is available if you have mobility issues but I would not describe the house as accessible.
