Looking for a flatmate for my Mt Eden 2-bed – room’s ready now.
Medium sunny bedroom, walk-in wardrobe with its own window (because why not have a window in your closet?), big open-plan living, deck with sunset views, heat pump, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fibre. Mt Eden/Balmoral corner: butcher basically next door, café and dumplings just down the road, bus stop about 50m away.
You’d be sharing with one mid-30s IT introvert (he/him) who appears calm and sensible at first, then gradually reveals a fondness for over-engineered dinner parties, board games and cocktail experiments. Quiet, respectful home, not a party house.
Our property manager is your typical Auckland best-case scenario. Totally forgets we exist, as long as we pay rent, but WILL respond to (most) urgent maintenance issues. It means you can put holes in the wall to hang a picture, but probably not put holes in the wall to make a new door (citation needed, I haven’t tried this myself).
